Other facilities: Beautiful walking trail that is skinny but stroller friendly and a duck pond

What I liked: along the side of the walking trail the trees and wooded area is very visible so my toddler could run through the trees beside me and I was able to see him the whole time allowing him to explore a bit on his own.The smaller child play structure had a lot of climbing places and very entertaining.

What I didn’t like: lack of shade for babies that are not mobile and able to play at the playground area

Arrondissment: Charlesbourg

Address: 5295 Rue des Violettes

Nearest bus stop: de Nemours (bus 39)

Parking: Very small parking lot which can fit maybe 5 cars

Playground surface: Wood chips

Age range: 9 months and up

Swings? Yes - 2 for babies; 4 for older children

Sandbox? No

Splashpad? Yes

Swimming pool? No

Toilets? Yes - but when I was there it was limited to the summer camp that uses this park

Picnic tables? Yes

Other facilities: This park has 2 playground sections. One for older kids and 1 focused on toddlers. The toddler one wasn't too simply but a good level for toddlers. A lot of shade and grass area for picnics and for babies to play. There are basketball courts, tennis courts and a skate park all on the park grounds.

What I liked: I liked that there was spacing between the 2 playgrounds and then the splashpad was in a different sections. It allowed for the kids to explore the whole park area versus staying in one small space.

What I didn’t like: Lack of access to bathrooms and the size of the parking lot.
